Have you been struggling with drinking too much? Have friends and family members told you that you have an alcohol or drug problem? Has your relationships been negatively affected by your alcohol or drug use? Perhaps you have lost jobs, received a DUI, or have realized that you are unable to cope with your anxiety unless you use substances. Are you beginning to wonder if maybe you have an alcohol or drug addiction? Are you ready to make some changes?
The first step to treatment is a chemical dependency evaluation. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine what level of risk you face due to alcohol and/or drug abuse and what level of treatment or care would best fit your needs. A CD evaluation typically takes around 1 1/2 hours to complete. During this time you participate in a full interview that discusses your medical status, employment and support, drug use, alcohol use, legal history, family/social history, and psychiatric status. In addition to the structured interview, clients also complete an alcohol and drug assessment such as the SASSI. After the evaluation is complete you typically know your recommendation during that session.
Initial assessment sessions are $250 dollars at the time of the service. If needed, a formal evaluation report is typically submitted within 2 business days of the structured interview.
Once your assessment is complete and recommendations are made, if outpatient therapy is recommended, Becker Counseling Services, LLC has professional therapists who can work with you to develop an individual treatment plan based on your goals. Throughout your treatment you meet with an experienced provider who offers compassion, empathy, support, and the skills and structure to help you overcome your addiction.
