Sometimes people are in need of a space where they can speak freely and grow as an individual. I would be happy to stand beside you and your family to provide that space where we can explore and grow together.
Prior to my experience in therapy sessions, I have worked in an inpatient residential treatment center working with individuals with depression, anxiety, disruptive disorders in a group setting. I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited program at Bellevue University. I enjoyed gaining experience in my internship prior to graduation as a generalized family therapist. I have worked with individuals and families of all ages throughout my career in the form of individual, couples, and family therapy. I use evidence-based interventions such as CBT, mindfulness skills, motivational interviewing, and emotional exploration exercises.
My favorite part about counseling is assisting others in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. At times, it can seem that it is difficult to experience the sense of adventure and exploration that we felt in our youth. Having someone by your side through the ride of life can help.
I accept Nebraska Medicaid, BCBS, UBH, Aetna and private pay clients.
